something about it appeals to me on a very core level..

'When I make a word do a lot of work like that, ' said Humpty Dumpty, 'I always pay it extra.'
(Alice didn't venture to ask what he paid them with; and so you see I can't tell you.) -Lewis Carroll, (but of quite coursedly.)
So beautiful... It fits the title perfectly. This is done all by hand (digitally)? The light and atrament play really well and the softness reflects such a quiet, dark beauty. Almost like it's alive--I could almost see the coils moving. In a larger size I think it's a little unbalanced between soft and sharp bits, but the detail and layering of the lines comes through really nicely.
The peridot hues look gorgeous and you don't see many people using them (though I don't think that particular shade of blue at the bottom compliments this version as much as the green did in the other gold/sardius version).
a beautiful interplay with line and color. I believe ive actually been looking at this long enough trying to digest and leave a somewhat intelligent comment. Im suddenly feeling like Im looking at a very angry person. But I guess you will see all sorts of things when you stare.
reminds me of something I'd see on a Cockteau Twins album cover.

Wowwww... I love this. The first images it put into my head were of a very human, raw natural kind. Or even human AND plant, with the illusions of roots. I felt like I could see human sort of roots in it like maybe a placental or sperm-esque image...
