The flautist and the octopus were called to entertain
at the Carnival of Animals. Indeed it isn't plain,
precisely how the two could work together to create
a piece of music; so if you'll allow me to elaborate:

The flautist held the octopus with somewhat awkward grace,
relaxing as each tentacle contorted into place,
ensuring that the writhing limbs were tractable and lithe
with allowance for the maximum amount of slip and slithe.

The octopus submitted to the trifling with good temper,
and merely chewed a starfish as the flautist moved each member.
At last he took a mouthpiece and, as gently as he could,

Don't let this turn you off, but the orange part is actually colored toilet water. Anyone who's had their toilet back up will appreciate the metaphor.
The ashy mountain derives from whip-the-camera-around photos of jewellery; the strands of darkness are inverted light-tracers.

This is my favorite piece from all the work that you showed me on the forum. [link]

The lines are very dynamic and really portray this sense of outburst and chaos as well as the crack of the opening of the mountain. The shape is amazingly still recognizable as an erupting volcanos. I really love the contrast on this piece and I think you made the right choice to color the mountain white instead of using perhaps brownish color. It would not feel as effective as this if you did.
